SPRING SONGS Lively arrangement by Singers Herald Special Georgetown Singers performed a tribute to spring Sunday at Ihe John Elliot Theatre Dole Wood conducted and played piano Tor the show entitled Songs of Spring The 1 hour concert before a packed house featured love songs and cheery songs for springtime The choral group opened up doing a terrific Job of he song Memory The group also added a lively spring atmosphere by singing two uplifting songs from the musical Annie called I Don t Need Anything But You and II The Hard Knock Life The Cantante Singers did on excellent Job of the song Leaving On A Jet Plane and received a big reaction to the song from the movie called What A Feeling Although the choral group consists of many talented girls the audience enjoyed solos from two of the talented individuals in the group Johanna did a fine Job with Christo pher Cross hit Sailing A new face In this year choir displayed her talent on Sunday night as well Julie dcKleer did an excellent job performing the theme song from Mahogany entitled Do You Know Where You Are Going To There arc a lot of new faces in the choir this year Approximately new girls joined the Singers since January No
