number of new spring programs for youths and adults alike Three new programs Include a Maintenance Workshop Skate Board Workshop and Sports The bike maintenance workshop will concentrate on tuning up those bikes for spring and summer use with North Sports showing those interested how It done Thi program will be at the Georgetown Community Centre and the Acton Community Centre The Acton program starts April with the Georgetown one commencing the following night The fee will be per person and Is open those 10 up The board work hop will also be offered In both Georgetown and Ac ton with get in shape for the upcoming season Spring tennis will also be offered for the junior beginner junior in adult beginner and adult Intermediate All programs commence around May 1015 and will be held at George Kennedy ana Joseph Gibbons schools As well a ladles morning tennis program will be starling up May at Joseph Gibbons and Park tennis courts If swimming Is your bag fear not as there will be aquatic programs loo if you re having difficulty with your backstroke or perfecting your front crawl Stroke and Skills might be for you This class concentrates on stroke tion and is offered at the Georgetown Pool to children or adults in or above the Red Cross Maroon class Water activities is a variety of classes eluding speed swimming synchronized swimming and more at the Georgetown Pool starting Mar 30 Also daytime swimming Is being offered at the Georgetown pool right through to the beginning of May A Water Safety course will be held starting May 30 for those interested In caching Red Cross and Royal Life Society Awards The pre- requisite Is be ing 1G and over and having L S Bronze Medallion and being a Red Cross Leader The fee is plus books and it will be held at the
