the plans to fund the project but Rotary Is not forgetting one of its favorite programs with this show Much of the profit from Rotary Presents will go towards funding the annual Senior Ci Ultra Dinner Rotary has been providing this din for well over 30 years now and year the number of dinners served as well as the cost of pro viding the dinner grows and grows Held each year at the end of October or very early in November the Rotary Cub of Georgetown hosts an evening of dinner and entertainment for up to Georgetown and area senior citizens The generation of funds to con inue this function on an annual basis is one of the reasons why the Rotary Club presents on evening of theatre at the John Elliott Theatre This years fundraiser will be held on Friday May 13 at a p with two performances on her daughter was Hers was an ill prepared marriage contracted to escape a father who drank to excess and terrorized his family Lack of experience and a low self image found her ironically courting the same character defects in her in tended husband Although older by a few years he proved totally and their married life was dog gcd by financial insecurity and in stability Her husband employ was sporadic but early pregnancy lack or education 2nd few work skills kept Sally reliant on someone who was unreliable Violence erupted early In the mar Increasing In severity and in tensity combined a dally bar rage of verbal abuse Sally felt her world closing In Her husbands suspicious nature and controlling separated from her husband and the courts have granted her custody of the children Sally main concern Is for the emotional well being of her children She wants desperately to break the cycle of violence that has served to undermine her own and her children happiness and with an agency Sally la final ly taking the first tentative steps toward gaining the esteem and strength necessary to provide her fairty with a responsible stable and nurtu environment In which they may hopefully reach their full potential life will not be easy for Sally she will join the legion of single parent families primarily headed by women who struggle to exist on a subsistence far below any recognlz
