proposed new slon on the east end of town June 13 The Mlllvicw Management Group Is planning to build a subdivision comprising of 390 residential units In lownhouses and a ninestorey con dominium building on acres of property located east of Mountain view Road north of the CNR tracks and west of Maple Avenue The condominium complex will consist of units while the townhouse units will consist of both conventional and slacked units will build a new municipal street linking Mountain v Road to an existing road si on of Maple Avenue Parking will Include surface park for the condominium units and three underground parking lots and some internal parking under some of the arc proposed for the subdivision There are currently throe houses on the property but the developers plan to tear them down The sprawling condominium com plex would be built In two phases said the towns Deputy planning Director Bruce MacLean Road Improvements will be in eluded for Maple Avenue up to River Drive he said will also have to reconstruct the CNR bridge to nan die the traffic Maple Avenue south of the CNR tracks will also have to be widened lo accommodate the project The developers will build a 10- ft high acoustical fence along the CNR tracks and another fence along the property of Varlan Canada said Mr MacLean Although the Hills Official Plan calls for a three storey cap on Friends of the Library
