supporters were treated lo a tight checking well played game between the local team leading Milton Georgetown scored first on a goal by David assisted by Tim While the local team dominated play ihey were unable to maintain their lead and ended up losing The final score did not reflect the closeness of the game and the outstanding effort made by all of the Major Atom players In on Nov 15 the Atom team regained their com and completely dominated the game winning 102 In all 12 Oakville avenges loss to Novices Last Sunday afternoon Georgetown Major Novices hosted and the visitors were out for revenge The last time these two teams met bock in October our boys come out on top In an exciting gome which could have gone either It has been a tough season for our boys ihls year and the victories have been hard to come by There have been many highlights though A few that come to mind ore Brad Davidsons five goals against Erin and his successful penalty shot against Curtis dams two goal games reflec ting the teamwork and extensive passing that the Georgetown team displayed David led the focal scor ing two goals and two assists while David Kalbarskl bad two goals and one assist Marc Boucher one goal and two assists Brad Spears one goal and two assists Scott Truman one goal and two assists Tbom three assists Kevin Lumb one goal one assist Paul Sandlfer one goal and Scott Lahey one goal David Boere Sandy Davidson and Tim Dlardichuk each were awarded an assist in the game Once again the coaching staff was pleased with the back check 1ns of the forwards the work of the defence as well as the solid effort of the goal tender Josh Richardson Andrew worked hard In the comers to tie up the club and force the play The Major Atoms next travel to The Georgetown Major Atoms hockey team exploded against on Saturday Nov for a victory in Memorial Arena Josh Richardson earned the seasons first shutout with a well played game stopping Flamboro assaults with a hang tough ag gressive goal tending style David led the scoring with Tour goals and an assist In an outstanding effort Other point achievers were Paul Sandlfer two goals two assists David Boere four assists Brad Spears two goals
