pair of re cent wins over Brampton and after losing to Burlington 7 3 In the Burlington game the Cen tury 21 Major Atoms never got un tracked and trailed throughout the entire game After trailing at the end of the first period Sandy Davidson opened the Georgetown scoring in the second period with a hard shot from the point position assisted by Kevin Brad Spears assisted by David Kotsos narrowed the Burlington lead to two goals but it was the closest that the hometown club was to come to Broomball tourney The Town of Hal ton Hills Recreation and Parks Depart ment in conjunction with the team foes Milton Heights Ski Club got off to a great start for 1989 as three club teams swept their respective competitions last weekend Milton Heights white team took a 11462 cumulative score over Oshawa Ninjas at Glen Eden last Sunday while the green team defeated London Ski Club 12651 at Mansfield Milton Heights red team completed the Sunday sweep by downing the Alpine Club of Caledon 14272 in Caledon Milton Heights females were onetwothree In their category at Glen Eden with Stacey ONeill placing first Natalie Clarke of Milton in second and Bramptons Allison Sterling in third Campbellvllles Dan placed second in the male category with Derrick Glende of Milton in third and Mississaugas Brent Garell in fifth At Mansfield for the green team Momque Hoewing Nor- val Heidi
