June com mencing at 8 aim Again this year there will be a race a prize will be awarded to the first male and female to complete the race All entries to complete the race will receive a certificate Zone Raisins unbeaten in hoop playoffs As expected during playoff time week three of the Georgetown Ladies Basketball League postseason roundrobin provided results that were both surprising and not so surprising To no ones surprise the Blue Zone remains atop the leagues playoff standings with an unblemished 30 record after defeating the Celtics by points 6252 on Apr 5 A big surprise however is the fact the Zone is sharing first place with an equal ly unbeaten California Raisin squad that won its third straight playoff game on Apr with a 5038 besting of the 76ers Pacemakers who actually drew ahead of the Blue Zone by a half game to win first place honors at the conclusion of the regular season trashed the Steroids 7335 to stay in second at 21 The Celtics and Sixers are still looking or their first playoff wins while the Roidsstand at 12 Linda Osso 18 points and Judy Thompson 17 led a balanc ed Blue Zone attack on Apr while the Celts got points from Michelle Susan Thorn 16 and Tracy back by someone standing over you and trying to aim spoonfuls at your mouth from a height of four feet You can imagine the scene although they say banana flavour does wonders for the skin and hair
