Sharon Hale who lashed out two doubles Sharon and Heather Hansen com bined for four to lead the Boomer and Moose team to a decisive win over previously undefeated Blue Light Blue Light allowed six unearned runs in this contest which spelled defeat The Light crew were spearheaded by the continued ex cellent hitting of Brookes Jeannie tore the cover off another ball to record another homerun Janet Poirier Monica Donaldson and Cindy Crawford each pitched in a double to spark a late rally by the Blue Liters HalfCrocd 23 Lifes a Peach 22 A team squeezed this game out with a great com eback A the City of Guelph The contest Which community can encourage a greater percen tage of its population to exercise for at least minutes today All you have to do is choose your favorite sport activity or forth a good effort and came out on top of the gritty Caddy Gals Carol Dean Jackie and Robin Maltby were perfect at the plate with Robin smashing a homer for son Brett Virginia Walker and Melanie Hewson scored five runs and com bined for six RBIs to even out a balanced attack Pink Cadillacs continue to have tough luck Greg and Bo have yet to come up with a winning com bo for these talented ladies Holly Peterson and Helen Sl- led the Caddies offen sively with Betty and Brenda Hamilton tossing in with good pitching A great game played by all Travelling Blueberries 17 Rogers Dodgers A good close game with the Ber ries coming out on top Heather Cartwright and Kim Kirk led the Travellers against a determined Dodger crew Pauline Cawood and Jan Walker clouted out triples and Leanne Hall Judy Cater and Penny But- each contributed key in a losing cause Raisin Hell Red Sox 12 A right to the end with neither team giving an inch Raisin Hell received strong per formances from Carol Spiteri who struck out eight Sox batters and was threeforthree at the plate Bemie Bishop poked out a triple and played good defense A strong team effort by both clubs provided for a real dramatic finish A
