which would have to be made to the ice surfaces so if adopted and unpopular the NHL would just have to suffer the conse quences Lewis noted that four other changes in the rules will be tried on an from Toronto As always the conversation turned to real estate within short order and I am an avid listener when it comes to house prices in other areas Our friends live in Rosedale so the stories are superb in their content for not only do we hear about the crazy cost of housing but we hear the little vignettes that surround the sale of a lot of these proper ties ft is hard for us to imagine here in Georgetown paying half a million for a 3 bedroom bungalow but there it is Houses right on their street have these astronomical price tags on them One of the more interesting stones was returning home from work one evening to find that two houses on her street had been totally flattened When she had left in the morning thev were still standing but not eight hours later It s almost like losing your mind when this happens for you think that perhaps you missed something going on er the past couple of day However she did not miss anything but it seems that people are now buying smaller houses on reasonable size lots this area and flattening the homes and building bigger and better houses on the same lot As land is almost impossible to get Toronto and we are not any different here in Georgetown is one to get what you want but can you imagine the cost I guess my fear is that this could very well happen here if things don let up Aheadv I casting my eye properties that could very well be suitable r this sort of thinking It is possible and I wouldn t put it past us in this area for ask any real estate sales rep about trying to get a nice parcel of land in town and you will find a blank expression on their face and a change of pallor Perhaps we as salespeople should start looking at this possibility for there is no hope in sight for lot severances within the town and that is where a lot of us want to live Even if we have clients who want to live within five minutes of town it is still just about possible to find a nice lot to build on So hold on to your bank books my friends there just might be a whole new era of building taking place soon I can see it happening- and it is a little scary to say the least Homes Sold Compliments of AVAILABLE AT LEADING EYECARE
