Championship and playoff championship as well The girls record stood at wins against two losses for the year Georgetown started off slow in the first game of the double knockout tournament playing Valley Came Gallant handled the pit chores for the Georgetown team with Tara Bouskill catching Gallant struck out four and walk ed one in the ball game Susan Subject and Michelle Webster a strong defensive game at and third respectively In game two defeated a tough Milton squad4 2 Gallant again did the pitching Georgetown striking out four walking one and hitting one batter Georgetow defence played standout ball ab Michelle Webster and Sue Subject each had three assists and Tara threw a Milton runner out trying to steal second Gallant was the big hitter going three for three with a triple and two singles and runs Shrubsole also reached base three times on three singles Sue Subject single in the third drove in Gallant and Ten Kor zack s single in the fifth scored Gallant Milton s runs
