the Belleville Lions Midget Hockey Tour nament The Sunny Acres Farms squad will be challenging teams from Belleville Cornwall Owen Sound London Bramp ton and Ottawa As well two teams from Terriers and Royals will be competing in the three dav event to be staged Friday and Saturday at Belleville s Memorial Arena and Sunday at the Quinte Sports Centre Friday evening Sunny Acres Farms meet London The Georgetown team has two games slated for Saturday In an 11 30 encounter provides the opposition while Mississauga Terriers challenge Sunny Acres Farms in a m con test e tournaments Consolation Championship game is scheduled for Sunday with the tournament Championship set to go it i at theQuinteSportsCentre Centennial Chargers take top honors The tenth annual Pro- incial Cup was held in Star borough and Saturday Twentv eight teams from as far as Ottawa competed The winners for the past two vears has been Glashan School of Ottawa There were four pools with sfven teams in each Three teams from each advanced to the next round In Centennials pool were Seaton Durham Joseph Howe Scarborough Castex Simcoe Kelsey and Woodlands Peel Centennial s record in pool plav was nine and three The semifinals Centennial defeated R H Cornish of Durham 1510 15 After 20 games that were tired in the first game of the finals against a tall team from Woodlands in Peel They lost 615 However they against both Brampton and Streetsville but sources close to the Georgetown team report that and are balking at the move It reported that another deal is in the works for Hickev and dall with a Central Ontario Junior B Hocke League team that just might see four more additions to the Raider roster The unsettled roster conditions are bound to affect those still skating with the Raiders and this is
