Century 21 Minor Atoms came home to host Burl on Thursday night The home team came out a little flat and by the midway point of the second period Burlington had what looked like an insurmountable lead lift and they started swarming the Burlington end of the rink With only two minutes left Curtis picked up a loose puck against the just inside the blue line and drilled a high shot to make the score Georgetown continued to press and Burlington was holding on by their fingernails to their one goal lead With less than a minute left and the puck in Burlington s defensive zone coach Brian James pulled Scott Herbert for the extra attacker Burlington desperately shot the puck toward the blue line but Ricky Clark kept it in and passed to Brad Davidson Brad passed to Shane Thompson who bulled
