HERALD OUTLOOK Saturday February Leisure Lines Seniors invited to participate ONTARIO SENIORS GAMES GET INVOLVED In the Ontario Seniors Games were developed to allow seniors from all over Ontario to compete In local regional and pro vincial games These games were designed for fun and social interac tion and not just competition The games have grown from their humble beginnings to ove participants in local and regional games in In August of 1968 over congregated in Brampton Peevvee House League for three days of provincial com petitions and fun Halton District sent competitors and of those nine were from Hills Although no medals were brought home they had a great time and developed some lasting friend ships On June 21 1989 Burlington hosted a fun day where over 250 seniors from Halton Region shared in a great day of fun and interac tion In Halton Region committees are now being created to promote each of the games for our 1990 Murray Motors snuffs Firefighters Tom Tyson Hackett and Jeff Williams each scored twice to lead Murray Motors to an triumph over Georgetown Firefighters in a Georgetown Minor Hockey Association House League contest Saturday Joel Koeslag and rounded out the scoring for the winners Matt Lush had a pair of assists while single helpers went to Jamie DArcy Boudreau Tom and Jeff Williams Brady Davies scored twice for Georgetown Firefighters with single
