elects executive By ELAINE VANDERBURG Herald Special On a mild Jan 17 evening the Georgetown Horticultural Society met to conduct its annual meeting and review the years activity Retiring president Madge Whit field was presented with a small token of gratitude for five years of work on the executive She chaired the business portion of the meeting and new members were introduc ed A review of the years events and prize winners by Jaspersen the incoming president indicated that there would be a lot of material to contribute to our year book project Other projects are the March meeting will be an open meeting to the public with Larry- Sherk describing landscap ing for the new homeowners Larry is a representative from Sheridan Nurseries Thirdly contributions were re quested for the cookbook project which will incorporate gardening hints It will be available for pur chase at the spring flower show The report of the nominating committee for the new slate of of ficers and directors was
