District Bursary The scholarship which is worth has been awarded to Sandi daughter of Mr and Mrs Don Brander RR i Norval San di has completed over 20 Lifestyle projects has been a youth leader for clubs won the top member award for the conserva club twice and is presently vicepresident of the members council At Milton District High School she was a member of the basket ball and soccer teams par ticlpated in the prefect tion and spent many hours as part of the concert band jazz band and sax quartet In the community she has been a basketball coach helped at the childrens environmental festival in Hamilton taught Sunday school at Hillcrest Church tutored a Grade student while working parttime Right now she is the Halton Dairy Princess and will be competing at the Canadian Na tional Exhibition this month In the fall Sandi will be attending the University of Guelph to attain her Bachelor of Arts degree Mane Hollis daughter of Mr and Mrs Ralph Hollis R Is the winner of the Halton District Bursary valued at She attended the Acton District High School where she was an active member of the vocal group and has acted in the schools major drama productions these past 2 seasons She has taken piano lessons for several years and plays the man for enjoyment In sports she has played baseball and Icestock and enjoys skiing and cycling As a volunteer she was a counsellor at the Art Camp in and this year is working as a summer leader for the Parks and Recreation Department This fall will be going to Wilfrid Launer University to obtain an Honours Degree in Psychology The Halton
