of Georgetown The first of the up coming meetings is this Tuesday at Georgetown District High School and the topic of discussion will be town planning for the future of Georgetown The next meeting will be held Nov at Centennial Middle School and the topic of discussion will be Creativity and Small Business A third meeting will be held Dec at St Church in Glen Williams during which time a silent auction will be held The final meeting will be at Georgetown District High School when Halton Hills Detective Stephanie will talk on the issue of Drug Awareness All the meetings will start at 7 m except for the one in Glen Williams which will get under way at Block Parent month The month of October was declared Block Parent month in Georgetown and Acton by Hills Council Monday The Block Parent group plans to hold a flag raising ceremony and invite the public to participate in the event local Block Parent Chairperson Elaine Free indicated in a letter submitted to council No date was given Monday to prepare a report on the feasibility of amending the town zoning bylaw which cur rently prevents homeowners from building any structure except a fence that is located metres within the
