Ontario soft white winter wheat is 26 per tonne down approximately per tonne from March and down per tonne from one year ago The pricing drop is a direct result of substantial losses against the Chicago market on domestic human consumption pricing Fur ther depressed world wheat prices due to the USA export enhance ment and EEC export restitution projected world wheat price sup plies and Ron Bird Georgetown Senior Heifer Hols cms Connie Bennett Burl ingtoni and 2 Jill Georgetown Junior Yearling and Summer Yearling 1 Kellv Stewart and Ron Bird Heifer ns Brett Cormier and Heather Mar shall Milton Overall winners of the Champion Dam calf was Kellv Stewart while the Reserve being Connie Bennett The Beef club s overall calf Champ on for Halton was Laurie Georgetown winner of the award The Reserve winner was McDonald In the Showmanship section Ryan McDonald won the Junior Andrew Wilson the Senior The Steer section was headed by Brad followed by Cathy Bntton Acton The Sheep Club also com pleted their year with Christine White Acton winning the Ar McKlnnon Showmanship Award with Tyler Georgetown Reserve The top Ewe lamb was claimed by Tyler and the Reserve being received by Lisa Murray Acton There was also a prejumor Showmanship special Ml years and under at Milton The Beef sec had Julie Hewitt in first follow b Vickie While Acton The Dam was topped Lee Nurse Georgetown and Cor mier Georgetown in second The Inter club show in the after noon presented a First Year Showmanship class won Downs Milton and 2 Jason Brow n in the Dairy section The overall winner was the sole beef entrant Dale Hew i tt inner of the Monteith award The recipient of the Aberfeldv Beef Show was Karen Acton and the winner of the Ward Brownndge Dam Award was Kelly Stewart the Grand Champion Livestock Showman was presented with the Topof theLine award This resulting con sisting of the Champion and Reserve of all livestock clubs must exhibit a horse dairy calf beef calf and a lamb
