School sport interest rising Special When you witch the sports news on television or read the sports section in the newspaper von notice the decline of on high school sports much than inert used to be lOor 15ears Others may think the opposite but the foci is that high school sports are neglected The question being raised is Are sports to the students anymore majority coaches and students interviewed to Ihmk that sports in school High to be specific ire just as if not more jortant to the students now fun sports ev cr w ere The overwhelming reason for s wis that sports in school a chance to relax and take their minds off other things such as school work jobs ind nothing else that happens to be on thtir minds One phys ed teacher feels that sports help keep the students from the bad things in life The now common horrors of drugs alcohol and in that can re illy disturb teenager When teachers and were asked about competitiveness in students contrasted w ith students of their era the answer was not surprising Most teachers coaches that the students ire much more competitive than when went to school This is paith because of the genenl of student of the environment that grew up in are still growing up in the students feel need to themselves and meet the stan set Pride in jour school is but seems to be lack ing an due to outside com and lack of any among schools More often than not students will attend a game to get out of classes then leave when the bell rings the only real shown is at championship games and title matches but then and only then in all popularity in high school sports is once again on the More and more people are trying out for sports and making the final cuts and it is only a mat ter of time before public interest is on the rise as well Rebel
