season curl ing for the Industrial curlers at the local North ice palace Teams are eyeing their places in the standings and their next op ponents to get some sense of whom they are going to be up against when they head into the final starting on April After this weeks thrills and spills the standings picture looks clearer at the top end The combination of a narrow Insurance Rockers win and a close Work That Body Fiddle loss leaves the Rockers in a nearly unbeatable position go ing into their final pairing of the second draw Their lead is a seemingly healthy 325 points Rockers squeaked by a tenacious Hog Liners crew in a gritty game which had the Hog Liners stealing four of the con tests eight ends It was only two three pointers and a near perfect eight end come around by vice Ted Rombough which pulled Rockers through for the win In their game Work That Body were facing two bad omens before a single rock was thrown The regular skip Ken Irwin was down with pneumonia and their
