family to the Community Centre this Saturday April 13th starting at p m to help celebrate No gifts are allowed Instead bring along a favorite tried and true and tantalizing dish Please at tach a photo will be held at the home of the Program Coor dinator Norine Van Thursday April 18 Girls attending the District WI Health course reported a good session on Wednesday April 3 May 2 is our Safety meeting at the home of Rita at 730 pm Ceremony of Holy Baptism Rev Peter Barrow conducted the ceremony of Holy Baptism during the morning service on April at Knox Presbyterian Church Georgetown Babies baptised were Christine Willi daughter of Mr and Mrs Bob Allison Lesley Helen daughter of Mr and Mrs Bill Allison Attending the baptisms were the babies paternal grandmother Allison and Aunt Helen Allison Baby Christine had proud grandparents Domokos and Jolan Sass and great grandma JolanSzanth Baby Lesleys proud grand mother MacKay attended as did members of the MacKay family for the noon luncheon following the ceremony Also at tending were big sisters Katelyn and Stacy Successful Lions show Huttonville Lions Club report another successful show on Sat and Sun last The Lions were happy draw Mae Tost courtesy of Webbs Flowers Lunch committee and Mable Hives and Ken and Velma Ella Watch Tower tour The Brampton West Womens Institute met at the Bethel of the Watch Tower Georgetown March 12 for a tour of the facility A short slide presentation was shown explaining how farming and food preparation is carried out by the volunteers of the Witnesses The group was given a tour of the printing operation of the Watch Tower publication which is distributed to countries all over the world There are 320 permanent residents at present that live on the site Meals laundry dry cleaning and medical needs of these residents are taken care of here The group then had an en joyable lunch at the Chateau Restaurant in Georgetown A short business meeting was held Plans for a euchre party to be
