an army of workers that tacked tasks such as set up food preparation decorating and then putting on a lovely program the Annual Robert Burns Buf fet Dinner and Dance was a made a huge success The community centre had a terrific Scottish atmosphere from the pictures hung around the room to the napkins depicting Robert Bums with his words of It s coming yet for a that That man to man the world o Shall be for a that Brian Arsenault was the C for the evening and started things going by welcoming everyone Joined by his wife the sange a most stirring Amazing Grace Mr Don piped in the haggis which was carried by Mr Fred Shortill The Address The Haggis was given by Sandy Keir whose accent lent a tive flavor to the recital Mrs Margaret Jamieson gave the Selkirk Grace and then a mountain of food was served fet style consisting of roast beef potatoes turnip peas homemade pie and of course the infamous haggis After the meal Mr Bill Dowell recited the mortal Memory followed by Mr red Shortill
