Seawright finished the race in 47 minutes and three seconds. He was followed by Andy Sinclair (50:42) and Shaun Chisholm (52.01). Lynn Rodgers won the wom- ens race in a time of 52:09. Jackie Smalec took second in 57.30 while Jackie Balazsovrts was third in 1:02:14. In the naked, or non-wetsuit division, Andrew Taylor won the mens side with a time of 52:05, beating Nick Chasovskykh by 34 seconds. John Steadman was third in 53.14.
