The State University of New York Canton Roos outside and middle hitter was named to the all-tournament team at the Oswego Invitational earlier this month. She led the Roos to a 2-2 showing at that tournament, registering 42 kills, 15 digs and seven aces in 13 sets. Reynolds nailed 12 kills with four aces and four digs in a 3-0 win over Utica College, and added 15 kills and three digs in a 3-0 win over Morrisville State College. The freshman leads the Roos in kills with 2.7 per game, which also ranks 13th in the USCAA, and is tied for the team lead in service aces with 43. The Rangers, who won the OMHA championship last year as novices, opened the new campaign recently by winning gold at the Mississauga Early Bird Tournament. Oakville won all five of its games at the tournament, pasting the Mississauga North Stars 7-0 in the title game. The Rangers' other wins came over Humber Valley (6-1), Mississauga Terriers (4-2), Toronto Aeros (6-1) and Goulding Park (4-1). Members of the team are Ethan Harkins, Darien Dreidger, Jake McKinstray, Colin Flurey, Ryan Jeffery, Jacob Caravaggio, Camden Purboo, Sean Guerin, Owen Sage, Riley Horton, Adam Zedor, Liam Mahoney, Christian Pelley, Matthew Thompson, Adam Clark, Chase Strychaluk and Daniel Yan. Paul Jeffrey, Ian McKinstray, Alan Clark and Aaron Mahoney coach the team, and Chris Thompson is the trainer.
