Helena Golebiowska, 69, and Fenia Arendacz, 76, were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash that happened around 3 p.m. The Mississauga women were in the back seat of the Protege. Golebiowska was ejected from the vehicle. Golebiowska's brother-in-law, Jan Giemza, 68, was driving the Protege while his wife, Marianna, 66, Golebiowska's sister, was in the front passenger seat. Both are in a Toronto trauma centre with lifethreatening injuries. The driver of the Jeep suffered minor injuries. Police say it's too early to determine whether charges will be laid.
