The first robbery happened Sept. 30, when a man in a black balaclava and carrying a black handgun entered the Petro Canada gas station at 1123 Dorval Dr., and demanded money and cigarettes from the lone attendant. The attendant handed over the money and cigarettes and the suspect fled in a car. Police believe the same suspect returned to the gas station Oct. 9, again armed with a black handgun and wearing a black balaclava, and robbed it of cash and cigarettes. Recently the suspect's vehicle was captured on video gassing up at an Esso gas station in Mississauga. Police said the vehicle in the video has the same stolen licence plate as that seen during the Oct. 9 robbery. The man fled the Mississauga Esso station without paying. Police consider the individual in this incident to be a suspect in the Oakville robberies and are seeking the public's assistance in identifying him. The video can be viewed at http://bit.ly/vnkpdM.
