While the Roadshow will accept anything that's old and valuable, they will be focusing on: gold and silver coins made before 1968, U.S. coins made before l970, military items, fine art, musical instruments, pocket and wrist watches. Scrap gold is expected to be a popular category this week due to soaring gold prices. Buyers for the Roadshow have noticed a tremendous increase in the amount of gold coming to the shows, and for good reason. Fuller went on to explain that coins made before 1968 are the most sought after by collectors. U.S. coins made before 1965 are 90% silver.
