An event of this magnitude cannot be done without the support and aid of many special thanks to Kathy Mundy and her Gala Committee and Bruce Galloway, y the Foundation's Chairman for a spectacular matching gift that helped the Oakville Hospital Foundation break a new fundraising record for the event. New Role - ICU Volunteers Oakville-Trafalgar T Memorial Hospital is seeking sensitive, compassionate individuals to assist the Intensive Care Team in supporting patients, their families and visitors. Volunteers will gather and provide information that is helpful to patients, families, visitors and the care team. HHS Receives Provincial Award Halton Healthcare Services (HHS) was one of five healthcare organizations awarded a PLATINUM A Quality Healthcare Workplace Award by the Ontario Hospital Association (OHA) and the Ministry of Health and Long-Term T Care. Third Annual Swim for Mental Health You can make k a difference in the health of our community and eliminate the stigma of mental illness by supporting the 3rd Annual Swim for Mental Health. Your donation will go towards the renovation of seclusion rooms within the ED. This project is urgently needed to provide the level of care and dignity these patients deserve. These rooms will provide a safe and warm atmosphere for the children to be with their families throughout the process. OTMH Scheduled Preventative Maintenance Healthcare Services (HHS) is planning a scheduled preventative maintenance of its high voltage electrical system equipment at Oakville-Trafalgar T Memorial Hospital (OTMH) from approximately 11:00 p.m., Friday, y November 25th to 5:00 a.m. November 26th. Power to all essential areas of the hospital will be provided by backup generators during the maintenance period. HHS has been working closely with an electrical contractor and Oakville Hydro to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted transition of its power supply. y While non-essential areas of the hospital may be dimly lit, this work is not expected to effect hospital services at OTMH.
