Predeceased by his beloved wife, the former Kathleen King, in October 1999. Much loved father of Patricia King of Pennsylvania, Tim Leech and his wife Elaine of Oakville, and Christine Collins and her husband Mark of Meaford. Sorely missed grandfather of Charles King and his wife Andrea, Rosemary King and Brianne King, Lauren Leech and her friend Jamie, and Morgan Leech. Dear brother of Robert Leech and his wife Pat of Houston, Texas and Kenneth Leech (late Jean) of Calgary. Also remembered by Carol and his many other friends and by his special caregiver, Myrna. He will be sadly missed by his 'best friend' Lucky. Cremation has taken place and Donald's family will receive friends at the Ferguson Funeral Home in Meaford on Friday evening from 7 until 9 p.m. Thence to St. Vincent's Roman Catholic, Cook St. in Meaford, on Saturday, November 19th where the funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. A family service of interment of Donald's ashes will be conducted in Oakville at a later date.
