www.oakvillebeaver.com The Oakville Beaver, Friday March 30, 2007 - 41 Drumming up awareness OT team earns spot in national improv games Oakville Trafalgar High School's improv team has earned its place alongside the best in the country. The 10-person squad will compete at the Canadian National Improv Games in Ottawa from April 3 7. They earned their way to the national stage on Saturday, March 24 at a wildcard competition in Toronto. OT placed first out of the five teams in that round, advancing the team to the Toronto Regional Finals that same night, where they won the bronze medal. OT will be joined by Cardinal Carter School for the Arts and Guelph CVI in representing Toronto at the Canadian National Improv games in Ottawa. OT's 2004 team also made it to Ottawa, and placed fifth in the country. This year's team is coached by Melisa Muzzatti. Team members are Julian Gomez, Lex Shannon, Korey McDermott, Caleb Gilgan, Jordan Moffatt, Lindsey King, Connor Low, Jennifer Collins, Keren Petrie and Christian Glas.
