Marko, Anthony (Died)

MARKO, Anthony Peacefully on October 17, 2011, in his 84th year with family by his side. Beloved husband of Marguerite of 59 years. Proud father of Robert, Wendy and her husband Pat, Evan and his wife Jan, Aileen, Eva and her husband David, Ron and his wife Dorothy, Pam and her husband Rob. Grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Anthony's loving family and friends will miss his musical talents and his enjoyment of walking and spending time at the mall. Family and friends will be received at the Glen Oaks Reception Centre, 3164 Ninth Line (Hwy. 403 and Dundas St.) Oakville on Friday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday October 22, 2011 in the chapel at 11:00 am. Interment at Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens. If so desired, donations to the Alzheimers Society or the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to thank the palliative care staff at OTMH for their support, care, understanding and compassion.
