OT grad d a football f b ll all-star ll again Oakville Trafalgar graduate Tom Labenski is once again an Atlantic University Sport (AUS) football all-star. The senior linebacker earned his third all-star selection this season after leading the Acadia Axemen with 44 tackles. Labenski is one of 12 Acadia players selected to the AUS all-star team this year. The team was selected by coaches in the conference. Acadia will host Saint Mary's tomorrow (Saturday) in the Loney Bowl. THE GYM NAUTILUS Peewee Hornets turn Pink into gold Defeating their final three opponents in shutout fashion, the Oakville peewee BB Hornets won gold at the Etobicoke `Pink The Rink' rep girls' hockey tournament. After tying its opening game 1-1, Oakville posted 4-0, 4-0 and 2-0 wins to claim the title. The tournament supported breast cancer research. Oakville fell 1-0 to Chatham in the opener despite outshooting its opponents 25-3. The Hornets bounced back to win their round-robin division, then blanked North Halton 6-0 in the semis before avenging their earlier loss with a 3-1 win over Chatham.
