Description
W. I. Dick was born in Brampton in 1868, the son of Alexander Dick and Elizabeth Chisholm who had three sons and three daughters. In 1903 he married Margaret Young. William and Margaret had nine children. He was a lawyer for 61 years. In 1904 he was appointed Crown Attorney for Halton County and served until 1949. He was honoured by Milton school officials when a new public school was named after him. He was a Presbyterian and an Elder at Knox Church for 36 years. He died in 1962 and was survived by his wife, three sons and four daughters. He was buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Milton.
