Description

Edwin Earl was born in 1855, the son of Ameltha Earl and Eliza Jane Weir. He came to Milton from Kilbride c. 1891. He married Mary A. Houston (1858-1935) and they had six children. He was a Town Councillor and Reeve of Milton and also Halton County Warden in 1913. He was Mayor of Milton from 1917-1921. He died at his home, 111 Mary Street, in Milton, in 1931 and was buried in Evergreen Cemetery. For further information, see "Milton Area Biographies" by Alex Cooke.
