Description
Clarkson Freeman was born in 1827 at Munn's Corner in Trafalgar Township, the son of Isaac Freeman and Hannah Kelly. He married Elizabeth Martha Cobban. They had six children, four of whom died in early childhoog. He trained as a doctor in Toronto and in 1854 he entered into a practice with his fatherh-in-law, Dr. Cobban, in Milton. He died in 1895 and was survived by his wife and two sons, Dr. William F. Freeman of Rock Springs, Wyoming and James Frederick of Pomona, California later of Fleming, Saskatchewan. Dr. Freeman was buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Milton. For further information, see "Milton Area Biographies" by Alex Cooke.
