Description
William Hampshire was born in Fergus, Ontario the son of William Hampshire and Elizabeth McNaughton. He never married. He was appointed Sheriff of Halton County in 1935 and held the position until 1946. He died on January 13, 1968 and was buried in Fairview Cemetery, Acton.
