Police still seeking peeping prowler Halton police are asking for the public's help in apprehending a prowler responsible for multiple acts of voyeurism in Oakville and Burlington. The most recent incident happened Dec. 22 at around 12:20 a.m., when police received a report of a man prowling around the backyards of Palmer Drive near Guelph Line in Burlington. Police said the man's actions suggest he was peeping into the homes. The man, who fled the scene before the arrival of police, is described as being in his 40s, 6-foot-1, 220 lbs., wearing blue jeans, a grey sweater and grey hat. There have been several similar incidents reported to police in both Oakville and Burlington dating back to early 2011. In these earlier incidents, the suspect was reported to be masturbating while looking into homes. There is no evidence the culprit ever attempted to enter any of the homes. Halton police remind residents to be vigilant in reporting any suspicious behavior around their homes and would like to hear from anyone who has experienced similar incidents. Anyone coming upon an incident similar to what has been described is asked not to confront the culprit, but to call 911.
