Lend Me Your Ears Police issue reminder Clean your vehicle's windows before driving Halton Police remind everyone to clean off the windows in their car before they drive. Each year police respond to numerous collisions that are later deemed avoidable. Many of those investigated are determined to be caused by the driver simply not taking the two to three minutes to adequately remove snow and ice from their windshield, side windows and rear window to safely see in all directions as legislation requires. The short time it takes to remove snow or ice can be the difference from a safe commute to work to involvement in a collision which can include a further charge of No Clear View to Front, Side or Rear, even if the accident was not the driver's fault. The Ontario Highway Traffic Act states that nobody shall drive a vehicle unless the windshield and side windows afford the driver a clear view to the front and side of the car. Also the rear window must provide a clear view to the rear of the vehicle unless the vehicle is equipped with a mirror placed in such a position and maintained in such a condition to afford the driver a clearly reflected view of the roadway in the rear or of any vehicle approaching from the rear. Many patients who have found difficulty with retention or comfortably wearing dentures in the past have now found the benefits of new materials and technology. Cast metals bases, implants, magnets, myloc retention systems and soft liner inserts are providing excellent results for many who's past experience was poor, Also, implants dentures are available. Your dentures and tissues should be checked annually. Damage to the oral tissues can take place without your being aware of it. Early detection and elimination of tissue inflammation is important to minimize shrinking of the supporting bone. Remember, ill-fitting dentures could lead to many other health problems.
