COLES, Hartley Ernest October 13th, 1927 - January 30th, 2010 The family of Hartley Coles, former long-time editor of the New Acton Tanner, the Georgetown Independent and the Acton Free Press wish to advise you of his passing at the Milton District Hospital on Saturday, January 30th, 2010 in his 83rd year. He was the beloved husband of Irma (née Kentner) for more than 58 years and the loving father of Marianne Creary and her husband Bob Johnston of Georgetown and Tim Coles and his wife Cathy of Acton. Hartley was dearly loved and will be missed by his grandchildren, Robin Creary, Elizabeth Coles, Bryan Coles and Katie Creary and his great-grandchild Isaac Creary. He is survived by his: sister Joan McKeon of Mount Clemens Michigan, brother Terry Coles of Calgary, sister Denise Bottomley and her husband Terry of Guelph, brother Paul Coles and his wife Myrna of Guelph, sister Pat Coles of Toronto as well as his Aunt Jessie Coles of Acton. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and their families as well as his dear friends.
