In Focus, March, 2010 6 Tuesday Night Troopers Anniversary For five years, the Tuesday Night Troopers have met at the Horizon Packaging building in Georgetown for an evening of fun and friendship. The weekly drop-in centre is run by Community Living North Halton (CLNH), an organization that supports developmentally disabled individuals. To celebrate their fifth anniversary, the Troopers invited CLNH staff and volunteers to an open house where everyone enjoyed delicious food and fun games. Happy anniversary, Tuesday Night Troopers! Local groups and organizations stepped into the spotlight at the Community Open House, held February 6 at the Georgetown Market Place. More than 70 local sports groups, non-profits, service agencies and environmental groups gathered to spread the word about what they do. This year's event had an Olympic theme and featured appearances by local torchbearers, who gladly posed for photos with the many excited Halton Hills residents in attendance.
