Georgetown Raiders fans were tickled pink on January 30 when the hometown heroes took to the ice sporting rose-coloured jerseys during the inaugural Pink In The Rink fundraiser. The evening started with the Georgetown peewee select Raiders facing off against Oakville. Then came the main event where, unfortunately, the Raiders lost to the Oakville Blades. But every cloud has silver lining: the event raised about $4,000 for Cancer Assistance Services of Halton Hills.
