Police l host h national lb bomb b conference f in town By David Lea OAKVILLE BEAVER STAFF Bombs and bomb disposal will be the topics of a national conference hosted by Halton Regional Police Service today and Thursday in Oakville. The conference, being held at Halton police headquarters on Bronte Road, is expected to draw about 60 people, including delegates from police services throughout Canada as well as from the Canadian Armed Forces. "A lot of things are changing, new technologies, new techniques, and so we want to get an overall consensus, make sure everyone is on the same page and, from there, look at where we want to go as a group."
