McHappy Day McDonald's locations across Canada got McHappy on May 5 for the restaurant's annual McHappy Day fundraiser. The Georgetown and Acton restaurants celebrated with face painting, balloons and by inviting local "celebrities" including police officers, firefighters, councillors and businesspeople to help serve customers. For every Big Mac, Happy Meal and McMuffin sold that day, the local McDonald's locations donated $1 to help purchase a fetal heart monitor for the Georgetown Hospital. Bon appétit!
