The Ministry of Transportation will host a public drop-in session in Milton to present information and receive input on the need for improvements to the section of the highway from Regional Road 25 to Trafalgar Road. It will take place at the Lions Club Hall at Milton Memorial Arena on Thompson Road south of Main Street from 4 to 7 p.m. Earlier this year, the ministry announced it had selected consultant URS Canada Inc. to do preliminary design and a class environmental assessment study on needed improvements to the nine kilometre stretch of road. The ministry has set up the website www.highway401milton.com so the public can review study documents.
