Founders Cup within reach for Bulldogs Should the Halton Hills Bulldogs make it all the way to the Canadian Jr. B lacrosse championship in 2010, they won't have to worry much about travel expenses. This year's Founders Cup will be hosted by one of the Bulldogs' OLA South East Division foes, the Mimico Mountaineers, at the new MasterCard Centre and the Long Branch Arena in Etobicoke Aug. 16-22. Twelve teams will compete for the title, which was won by the Calgary Mountaineers in a huge upset over the Ontariochampion Clarington Green Gaels, who squeaked by the Bulldogs in the OLA Eastern Conference finals in a thrilling five-game series. Halton Hills hosted the 2002 Founders Cup in what is considered one of the mostsuccessful national championship tournaments to date. The Mountaineers will have had plenty of time to prepare after losing to Newmarket in the first round last week. 7 Bulldogs Thursday, July 8, 2010 The Regional Municipality of Halton The Halton-Peel Boundary Area Transportation Study Report was adopted by the Councils of participating municipalities in April ?LBÏ+?WÏ Ï2FCÏKCLBCBÏ$GL?JÏ Study Report is available at www.halton-peelbats.ca/ events.htm.
