Photo by Ted Brown Region supports mayor's motion Continued from pg. 1 "We know that is going to be very costly. We're not a rich community," said the mayor adding there are arenas to be built and work to be done on the Town's libraries. "To me this is wasteful that we're expected to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars (at the OMB)....with lawyers getting rich at Halton Hills taxpayer's expense." "It's a provincial initiative," said Wards 3&4 Regional Councillor Jane Fogal. "It wasn't our choice." She said if nothing else, the Province "might see the plight the municipalities are in and perhaps move in the direction of reducing the duration of OMB hearings." The motion is being sent to Premier Dalton McGuinty and Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing as well as all the provincial party leaders, and all regional and local municipalities within the GTA, and Association of Municipalities of Ontario for their support and endorsement. The motion was supported Wednesday at Halton Region Planning and Public Works Department and should be before Regional Council Wednesday. It results when the sound amplification "leaks" out from around the seal in the ear resulting in re-amplification of sound. It may be a result of a change in the shape of the ear canal often due to weight loss. A new ear impression will easily solve this issue. Contact us for a complimentary assessment of your current hearing aids, if you are not satisified with their performance. The first step to better hearing is a hearing test. curves.com [(OVER 10,000 LOCATIONS WORLDWIDE.] 39 Main St. S.
