This fee covers additional ice time, insurance, sweaters and socks. Individual teams may request up to an additional $250 per player (amount will depend on team fundraising activities) that is used to cover tournaments, extra practice ice and other hockey development. Select Teams are assigned one game and one practice per month from the GMHA. Teams can play one additional away game per month and can practice as much as once per week (depending on each team's ability to source extra ice). Select teams can also participate in up to three tournaments during the year. The Select program is designed to augment the House League programs for the players selected and therefore first priority MUST be given to the player's House League team. There is a $10.00 fee per tryout. ALL TRYOUTS WILL BE HELD AT THE MOLDMASTERS SPORTSPLEX. However, there will be additional tryouts held for the Midget AA and AE teams to fill the positions that are currently vacant.
