12 Independent & Free Press,Thursday, September 9, 2010 Ground broken for new parking lot Shoppers in downtown Georgetown will have less hassle finding a parking spot as the Town of Halton Hills will soon be constructing space for another 66 vehicles in the Edith Street lot at Edith and Mill St. The project is funded under the federal government's Community Adjustment Fund, which will contribute $825,000 to the project, with the Town kicking in $125,000 for a total of $975,000 for the project.
