Gallery Laura McDonald As a recent graduate of Nipissing University (2008), I lived in northern Ontario where my love and appreciation of nature and wildlife photography was cultivated. I moved back to the GTA shortly after school and was fortunate enough to land a job with Credit Valley Conservation. My position there allows me to visit and work in some of the most beautiful areas in this part of Ontario on a regular basis. Although nothing compares to the wildness up north, I have started to realize the value and beauty of the wildlife and ecosystems found in my own backyard. I use a Sony a330 camera. WANT YOUR PHOTOS IN GALLERY?: Gallery is always looking for photographers with a unique portfolio to be published in Sideroads of Halton Hills. Any photographer who would like to be considered should contact Ted Brown at tbrown@independentfreepress.com or call 905-873-0301, ext. 257.
