The fall fair season kicked into high gear the weekend after Labour Day when the Georgetown Fall Fair took over the fairgrounds. Hundreds of families passed through the gates to enjoy the sights, sounds and flavours of the 164th edition of the fair, which was hosted by the Georgetown Agricultural Society. Fairgoers enjoyed agricultural demonstrations and exhibits, as well as live entertainment, a variety of delicious foods and a fun-filled midway packed with games and rides. And, of course, there was the always-popular demolition derby on the Saturday night.
