Students to pedal for a cause A dozen students from Christ the King Secondary School will travel to the Dominican Republic in February on a relief mission and have set up a bike-a-thon fundraiser for Saturday to help offset the costs of building supplies. The students are covering their own travel and accommodation expenses while on the trip and require an additional $5,000 to help build homes for families in need. So from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. this Saturday (Nov. 13) at CtK, the Dominican dozen will take turns pedaling on stationary bikes in order to raise funds for the Dominican HOPE mission.
